The V&A Waterfront is a mere 4 km from Sweet Orange.

Green Point Flea market

One of the largest local markets in the Western Cape is located 3 car minutes from the Guesthouse.

Here you can find curios (drums, masks, ostrich eggs, jewellery), clothing (novelty T-Shirts, Jeans, Fabrique) and also South African “Kitsch”.

This flea market is on every Sunday rain or sunshine and is visited by both – Tourist and Locals like.

Beachfront & Dream Beaches

The beach promenade of Sea Point is 10 km long and just a walk away from the guesthouse.

The promenade is a paradise for Joggers, Walkers, Skaters, etc.

Walking along the promenade you are guaranteed to see one of the most stunning sun sets.

Sunset Cruises

There are Yachts which can be chartered for a cruise to see the sunset.

You can feel the warmth of the south-atlantic sun and also enjoy a breathtaking view of Signal Hill, Lions Head, Clifton and Camps Bay.

Table Mountain & Lions Head

This unique mountain range is visited by Millions of people. Table Mountain can be conquered either by walking (there are various paths which can be taken - ranging from the simple to the difficult) or taking the cable car (a remarkable example of Swiss Design and Engineering).

Lions Head is a renowned viewing spot for some of the most stunning sun sets.

Robben Island

This was “home” to Nelson Mandela and many other political prisoners for 27 years. The Island provides a fascinating experience for visitors interested in the history of South Africa.
